New Delhi (SHABD): The Indian Air Force (IAF) is conducting bilateral air exercise Veer Guardian 2026 with the Japan Air Self-Defence Force at Air Force Station Jodhpur.
The 14-day exercise, which concludes on September 22, focuses on advanced operational missions and extensive professional interactions between the two air forces.

The IAF is participating with a diverse mix of frontline combat aircraft, including the indigenous Light Combat Aircraft Tejas, Su-30MKI and Rafale. Japan is participating with F-2A fighter aircraft.
Exercise Veer Guardian 2026 reflects the deepening strategic partnership between India and Japan by enhancing tactical proficiency and aerospace operational synergy. The exercise also reaffirms the longstanding bonds of friendship and strategic cooperation between the two countries.
