It’s official now! Bollywood’s Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram to tie knot in Imphal

Imphal: Bollywood actors Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram is taking their relationship to next level, to get married this month. Instead of opting for a fancy destination, the couple have decided their perfect wedding in Lin’s home town Imphal, Manipur, bestowed in picturesque surroundings.

Randeep and Lin have been in a relationship for years but have always kept their personal life private. The couple finally have started preparing for their big day, scheduled to be held on November 29. The lovebirds are said to be flying in to Imphal this coming weekend to run some errands, meeting the Manipur Maharaja, Leishemba Sanajaoba for the last minute details of their meeting is one of them.

According to reports, the couple will tie the knot in a traditional Manipuri wedding with only family members and close friends of the couple. The soon-to-be bride and groom will be dressed in traditional Manipuri wedding outfits. In addition, the wedding will only seen Manipuri food and Manipuri artists, showcasing the rich culture of the State, Lin comes from.

After the wedding, the couple will also host a grand reception for their colleagues and friends from the industry in Mumbai during December, but the date is yet to be revealed. The reception in Mumbai is expected to have attendance of who’s and who of the film industry.

The lovebirds were seen together in the recent few events, including at a GQ event showing a perfect couple goals. They were also seen on a romantic lunch date in the city of dreams. On Instagram, the couple also posted happy photos while celebrating the festival of light with their families and friends.

Model, actress and businesswoman, Lin Laishram (37) after completing her education in Mumbai, Lin studied acting in New York, USA.

She was also the brand ambassador of New York based jewellery brand, Ozoru Jewelry.

Lin debuted her acting career in Om Shanti Om film starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. In 2014, she played the character of Bembem in the 2014 national award winning film Mary Kom alongside Priyanka Chopra, directed by Omung Kumar. Lin Laishram has become a prominent figure from the Northeast region in the film industry.

Meanwhile, Randeep Hooda, who is ten years older to Lin, made his debut to Bollywood with Monsoon Wedding. Since then, the actor has given some spectacular and powerful films like Once Upon a Time in Mumbai (2010), Highway (2014) and Sarbjit (2016). Randeep Hooda’s Hollywood debut in an action-thriller film Extraction, released in 2020, starred alongside with Chris Hemsworth and Goldshifteh Farahani.
