KANGPOKPI: Kimneo Hangshing, MLA of 46-Saikul Assembly Constituency, distributed various schemes and essential items during a distribution programme organised by the Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council (SHADC) at Saikul on Thursday.
Stationery items were distributed to schools as part of the programme to support educational institutions and the learning needs of students. Dustbins and other solid waste management items were also distributed to promote cleanliness and sanitation in the constituency.

Speaking at the programme, Hangshing thanked officials and representatives of the deputy inspector of schools, Saikul; sub-divisional collector, Saikul; Kuki Students’ Organisation (KSO), Saikul; Kuki Inpi Saikul and other stakeholders for their cooperation and participation.
The MLA said development was a collective responsibility and stressed the need for government institutions, community organisations, civil society and the public to work together to achieve sustainable development.
She called for continued cooperation towards building a cleaner, better-educated, healthier and more progressive Saikul constituency.
Hangshing also reaffirmed her commitment to working with all stakeholders for the welfare and development of the people of Saikul.
