Lionel Messi signs Two-Year Contract with PSG

Lionel Messi’s emotional exit from FC Barcelona after the club was unable to afford a new deal, the Argentina captain, now 34, with four Champions League titles with Barcelona has signed a two-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday and will wear the number 30 shirt.

In a first of his press conference Wednesday, signing with PSG, Messi said “I’m going to play with the best players in the world, and that’s always good.” Messi also added “I feel this club is ready to fight for all the trophies. This is my goal, I want to keep growing and keep winning titles and that is why I came to this club.”

The six-time Ballon d’Or joined Barcelona side at the age of 13 and scored a record 672 goals in 772 games, lifted 35 trophies during his time at the Nou Camp.

As one can imagine, PSG fans are elated at the news of the signing of Argentina superstar Lionel Messi.
