Mount Olive College Kohima Celebrates 32nd Freshers’ Social and Graduation Ceremony 2024

Kohima: Mount Olive College Kohima held its 32nd annual Freshers’ Social cum Graduation Ceremony 2024 at the College Auditorium. Organized in collaboration with the Students’ Council and Alumni Association, the event featured Professor Glenn T. Thong, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Nagaland University, as the guest of honor.

Thong presented degree certificates to 58 graduates of the 2021-2024 batch, while the college welcomed 87 freshers.

Vihuto Achumi was named “Batch Topper 2024,” and Ketou-ü Pfüsenuo received the “Student of the Year 2024” award, sponsored by Assistant Professor and Vice Principal Lovitoli Zhimomi.

Awards were also given for co-curricular and academic achievements. Medovi Rhi, President of the Naga Students Federation, delivered the commencement address, while presentation of grandaunts by Swedezhono Tsükrü, Dean (Academics) followed by valedictorian speeches by Vihuto Achumi, batch topper 2024 and Ketou-ü Pfüsenuo, student of the year 2024.

Dr. Koseno, Principal, Mount Olive college greeted the gathering while Shiwoto Wotsa, chairman & Managing Director, governing body, delivered the welcome address. Amugha Shohe, general secretary MOCSC spoke on behalf of the senior.

Earlier, the programme was chaired by Holika Yeptho, Coordinator, IQAC while Mughaka Yeptho, Youth Pastor, UBC Camp pronounced the invocation.

Lothungbeni Ngully, Dean ( Student Affairs) delivered the vote of thanks and Newtoli Jimo, Chaplin and Counsellor pronounced the benediction followed by celebration of talent by Mount Olive College Students Council.
