MSLSA to provide legal advice over Big FM Radio

UT News Service | Shillong, August 14: The Meghalaya State Legal Service Authority (MSLSA) will reach out to the people over the airwaves by providing legal advice via Big FM.

Legal experts will address various topics in English and Khasi on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 8 and 9am from August 17 to September 18, it was announced on Friday.

Some of the subjects to be covered include women’s rights, access to justice, Lok Adalat, protection of children from sexual offences and protection of women from domestic violence. The experts include Noor Ain Khan, MSLSA Member Secretary; Daphira Sohtun, District Legal Services Authority Secretary; Matti Warjri, Secretary cum District Child Protection Officer; and Annie I Sohtun, Meghalaya State Commission for Women Coordinator.
