Ukhrul: North-East Foundation for Education and Culture (NEFEC) in association with the District Administration of Ukhrul has started necessary preparations for organising the 6th edition of Edu Fest – State Level Inter-School Championship 2023, slated for 12-14 October 2023 at Ukhrul Headquarters.

During a press meet held at Ukhrul, Secretary of NEFEC, AC Tamyo highlighted the detailed programmes and activities that are to be conducted and competed during the 6th edition of Edu Fest – State Level Inter-School Championship 2023. AC Tamyo stated that “the three-day education festival will be held at UBC Jubilee Hall Phungreitang, Ukhrul. The competition is open to all students in the state. The competition items will comprise both individual and groups that include quizzes, spelling bee (3 categories), painting (3 categories), singing (Acapella), my dream (futurological project), mime, extempore speech and cultural show for students studying in Class III – Class XII in government or private schools of the state.”

AC Tamyo continued “The main objective of Edu Fest is to help students to realise their inborn talents and act as a platform to showcase or expose such talents through competitive spirit. I am grateful that the 6th edition of Edu Fest will be jointly organised by the District Administration of Ukhrul and NEFEC.”
“Registration forms will be made available from the 7th of September 2023 onward and the last date of submission for participants of the list/registration form is being fixed on the 26th of September 2023. Registration forms will be available at NEFEC Resource Center, Kamphasom (Near SP Quarter), Ukhrul Headquarters. Preliminary auditions will be held on the 7th of October. There will be cash awards for all winners and an overall team champion who will carry cash and a trophy.
NEFEC is a voluntary organization working for the upliftment of students and welfare for students capacitation at various levels to excel in their studies. NEFEC provides scholarships for meritorious and hardworking students as part of their educational support to needy families.
