SENAPATI: The Manipur State Unit office of the Naga People’s Front (NPF) in Senapati was vandalised by unidentified miscreants on Wednesday night amid mounting anger over the killing of six Naga civilians who had been abducted on May 13, 2026.
The incident occurred hours after reports emerged that the six hostages, who were abducted on May 13, had been found dead. The United Naga Council (UNC) stated that the victims were recovered in a mutilated and dismembered condition, alleging that they had been killed by Kuki militants.

The NPF is a constituent of the ruling NDA alliance in Manipur, and Deputy Chief Minister Losii Dikho belongs to the party.
No injuries were reported in the incident. Police have not confirmed any arrests as of the time of filing this report.
