Senapati, November 5: The Naga People’s Organization (NPO) has announced a temporary suspension of its planned halt on economic supplies to Kuki areas, following an official appeal from the Kuki Inpi, Sadar Hills.

According to a release from the NPO, the organization had earlier decided to stop all supplies to Kuki areas starting midnight of November 5, 2025. The move was intended as a protest against the desecration of a poster of Th. Muivah, Hon’ble Ato Kilonser of the GPRN, and the detonation of a large firecracker that caused panic among residents of Daili Village on October 29 and 30.

The NPO said the Kuki Inpi, Sadar Hills, had taken full responsibility for the incident and assured the organization that the culprit(s) would be identified and produced within ten days.

Acknowledging this gesture, the NPO has agreed to suspend the proposed economic blockade for a period of ten (10) days.
