The National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN/GPRN) has said that the “adverse reaction of the All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) to the good work initiated by the Wangcho Region of NSCN/GPRN to preserve the natural habitat and ecology of both wildlife and aquatic system within the Wangcho Region in Arunachal Pradesh has come as something that has bewildered the National Socialist Council of Nagalim(NSCN).”

According to a statement from the NSCN issued Tuesday, the apex students’ body of Arunachal Pradesh is acting in defiance of the NSCN’s conservation initiatives, which seek to halt reckless exploitation and destruction of wildlife habitats, including aquatic ecosystems. The NSCN views AAPSU’s stance as a challenge to the geopolitical rights of the Nagas, which are rooted in their historical and political claims.

The NSCN has accused AAPSU of insulting the Wangcho Region and standing against the NSCN/GPRN at the behest of forces and agencies determined to undermine Naga rights in Arunachal Pradesh. The NSCN has declared that AAPSU will be held accountable for their actions.
