Over 92% Students Clear Manipur Class XII Examination

UKHRUL: A total of 28,829 out of 31,259 students who appeared for the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur Class XII examination passed, recording an overall pass percentage of 92.23%.

The results, which were declared on Monday, recorded a pass percentage of 93.29% in Science, followed by 89.87% in Arts and 82.57% in Commerce.

From the Science stream, Takhellambam Kalpana Devi (Comet School, Changangei) and Yohen Longjam (Comprehensive Concept School, Sangaiprou) secured the top position with 490 marks. Pebam Taibangnganba Mangang (Millennium Institute of Sciences, Kwakeithel Mayaikoibi) secured the second position with 485 marks, and Keithellakpam Wynona Devi (Comet School, Changangei) secured the third position with 480 marks.

From the Arts stream, Sarangthem Ayingbi Chanu (E.K. Higher Secondary School, Sangakpham) secured the first position with 470 marks, Pushpa Kakchingtabam (T.G. Higher Secondary School, Imphal) secured the second position with 456 marks, and Cheshabam Nurmiya (E.K. Higher Secondary School, Sangakpham) secured the third position with 452 marks.

In the Commerce stream, Thoihenba Thongam (C.C. Higher Secondary School, Imphal) secured the first position with 454 marks, Haorongbam Keniya Chanu (T.G. Higher Secondary School, Imphal) secured the second position with 433 marks, and Athokpam Deny (C.C. Higher Secondary School, Imphal) secured the third position with 431 marks.

“This outstanding achievement is a testament to the dedication of our students, the tireless efforts of teachers, and the continued support of parents and guardians,” the Government of Manipur stated on X. The Government of Manipur has congratulated all successful candidates and stated that the students have brought pride to the state, wishing them continued success as they step forward to shape a brighter future for themselves and Manipur.
