St. Paul’s Parish Mourns the Passing of Esteemed Catechist A.S. James

Ukhrul, Sept 30: The Parish Pastoral Council of St. Paul’s Parish, Chandel has issued a message of condolence following the death of A.S. James, a revered Touring Catechist from Mary Immaculate Parish. “His passing has left the community in mourning, as many reflect on the profound impact he had on their lives,” said the condolence message.

In a message, the council quoted St. Therese of Lisieux, said God seeks the “heaven of our souls,” and acknowledged that James embodied this spirit through his service. “We have lost an emissary of the cross to the Catholic faith, a loyal friend, a caring father, and a loving husband,” the statement read, underscoring the deep sense of loss felt by parishioners.

The Parish Pastoral Council further extended its thoughts and prayers to James’ family during this challenging time, affirming the community’s solidarity as they grieve the loss of a cherished leader and friend.
