Despite all these, it is under severe threats from various anthropogenic activities. This was vividly witnessed at the spot, with messes all around the river as it is also one of the iconic spots for tourism.

The team collected around 100 kgs of waste from Lungshang kong mostly plastic waste. We also urge the public to raise more awareness and instill behaviour transformations to help in restoring the beauty of the river.
