Ukhrul: The Tangkhul Shanao Long (TSL) on Thursday adopted the TSL Vision 2050, aiming for a self-reliant Tangkhul community deeply rooted in cultural values.
Panel Discussion of TSL Vision 2050 was held on the third day of the TSL Golden Jubilee celebration at Ukhrul Headquarters. The panelists were Rev. FR. Vialo Francis Zingkhai, Financial Administrator Archdioceses of Imphal, Phokrizat Mayirnao, Independent Researcher, Chansa A Chihui, Assistant Vice President, HSBC Bank, Achui Shimrei, Mission Coordinator, Indian Evangelical Mission and RN. Ranmung (IRTS), Chief Regional Manager, IRCTC, Guwahati.

President of TSL, Thingreiphi Lungharwoshi, declared the adoption of TSL Vision 2050. The mission statement of TSL Vision 2050 states:
1. Establish specialized planning committees across various fields to drive focused development and empowerment initiatives.
2. Set policies and programs that address the needs and aspirations of Tangkhul women while promoting cultural integrity and growth.
3. Implement initiatives with careful sequencing and calibration to ensure effective and sustainable outcomes.
4. Conduct evaluations and introspection every 3 years to assess impact, gather insights, and rework strategies for continuous improvement and community resilience.
To realize this vision, Tangkhul Shanao Long calls on the entire community to join hands in support and work collectively toward its fulfillment.
