Ukhrul: The Tangkhul Shanao Long (TSL), the apex organization representing all women’s groups of the Tangkhul Naga Tribe celebrated its Golden Jubilee at the Ukhrul Headquarters under the theme “Reminiscing for the Future.”
Recognizing the need for a platform to address women’s grievances and other issues, Tangkhul women formed the organization in 1974. Originally called the “East District Women’s Association” (EDWA), it was later renamed and registered as Tangkhul Shanao Long (TSL), meaning “Tangkhul Women’s League.”

May we all be blessed through this celebration.”
