Ukhrul District reported Seven Covid-19 cases on Friday

In what was a major sigh of relief for the district populace, Ukhrul district which had seen spiraling of Covid-19 positive caseload reported just four cases on Friday till 4 PM, according to district surveillance officer Ukhrul.

The district reported one Covid death on Thursday, while nine tested positive in the last 24 hour in the district.

Health experts has been advising to work towards boosting immune system in addition to maintaining personal hygiene and physical distance so as to prevent the Covid infection.

Meanwhile, containment orders of six residences were revoked on Friday as all the family members in the containment zone tested Covid Negative.

The six residences are of Apam Lungleng, Khamasom Khullen village; Timyaola Raikhan, Wino Bazaar and Mercy Optical shop, Viewland zone I; Thomas Kaka, Harkuikathe tang, Ukhrul; AW Haoreila, Wino Bazaar; Shanjana Shill & Shanjana goods & sports shop, Viewland zone I; Vanmi Keishing Kamphasom tang, Ukhrul.
