Ukhrul: IISER admission 2023 application deadline extended till June 8

Ukhrul: The Office of the Deputy Commissioner in Ukhrul has issued a notification regarding the application process for admission to Integrated BSMS/BS Courses at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER). The announcement states that the last date for online applications was initially set as 25th May 2023. However, due to the prevailing law and order situation in the state and the ban on internet services, the IISER has made a special provision for the students.

The institute has agreed to accept applications in plain paper format until 8th June 2023. This decision has been made to ensure that aspiring candidates from Ukhrul can submit their applications despite the internet restrictions.

All interested candidates are advised to visit the office of the Deputy Commissioner in Ukhrul and submit their applications in plain paper using prescribed format. The candidates must include the following details in their applications: their name, date of birth, mobile number, year of passing Class XII, percentage of marks obtained in Class XII, and their choice of examination center.

The available choices for the examination center include Guwahati, Shillong, Aizawl, and Delhi. Additionally, candidates should attach copies of their photo identification and marksheet of Class X/XII along with their applications.

The deadline extension provides a crucial opportunity for the candidates affected by the internet ban to apply for admission to the Integrated BSMS/BS Courses at IISER. The Deputy Commissioner, Kengoo Zuringla, IAS, has urged all eligible students to take advantage of this revised deadline and submit their applications on or before June 8, 2023.
