Senapati: The newly elected executives of the Senapati District Students Association (SDSA) took oath of office at NPO Conference Hall, Senapati. The oath of secrecy was administered by Livingstone Joshua, Chief Election Commission, SDSA in the presence of other election commissioners, executives of the NPO and SDWA and other senior student leaders.
Outgoing President, Pung Mark in his message gratified all the executives of the previous tenure as well as people of the district for their support and cooperation that made his tenure ended successfully. The outgoing President regretted for the past nationwide lockdown due to Covid-19 during his tenure but expressed gladness that the hard times have been overcome. Pung Mark also urged upon all the incoming new executives to join hands together as team work and strive for betterment of the student community as well as the district. While urging to maintain good relationship with the parental bodies and the district frontal bodies, the outgoing President also urged for better coordination among the 5 major tribes of the district for better functioning.

Speaking as the new incoming President, Yunuo Peter paid his respect to all the senior student leaders and expressed his gratitude to the 5 federating units of the student body who are the backbone of the SDSA to have given their faith upon him. The newly elected President also sought the cooperation of the senior leaders even in the future to make the student body a strong one. The President then assured the gathering that his office is always open for any discussion and invites for better suggestions for good of all.
New executive members who took the oath include Yunuo Peter as the President, Robin Kangba as the Vice President, L. Singson as the General Secretary, Siasilakpe as the Asst. General Secretary, MK. Digabou as the Education Secretary, K. Joshua as the Information & Publicity Secretary, Joseph Khrasi as the Finance Secretary and Saloni Tony as the Assembly Speaker.
Later part of the program, Suingam, Customary Law Secretary of the Naga People’s Organization blessed the newly elected officials through prayer.
