CHANDEL: The executive members of the Anal Lenruwl Tangpi – Chakpikarong Branch for the tenure 2026-29 along with the members of the Assembly Affairs on Friday took oath and were installed during a simple yet meaningful ceremony. The event was held at the office of the Anal Naga Chief Association, Chakpikarong Sub-Division (ANCACSD) in Chakpikarong.
Returning Officer Sr. Joningam, who administered the Oath Taking, advised the executive members to work with sincerity and dedication. Congratulating them, the RO stated that to be a leader was a big responsibility especially in these times.

The executive members include Rt. Sainial as president, Lh. Oliver as vice president, Hl. Michael as general secretary, Bd. Winson as finance secretary, Sp. Monahring as social and cultural secretary, Sp. Joyngam as sports secretary, Rt. Phetha as information and publicity and Py. Khivelhring as women affairs. What is noteworthy here is that most of these executive members were re-elected with Lh. Oliver and Sp. Joyngam as new members.
As for the Assembly Affairs, Sp. Wartha was elected as the speaker, Sp. Thangam as Dy. Speaker and Bd. Franky as secretary.
Speaking on the occasion, the president re-elect Rt. Sainial said it was a pleasure yet a big challenge for him and the executive members. He maintained that one must sacrifice much to hold such a post and work for the people.
To be a leader is to keep one’s family behind and keep the public as a priority, he said. He expressed confidence that the team would be successful as before with the help and support of the various village youth clubs and the public.

Ts. Berek, president of ANCACSD congratulated the members and called for support from all village youth clubs and the public of Chakpikarong area. He maintained that unity was the only way to move forward.
Congratulating the executive members, Bd. Ningwar Anal, president of ALT-GHQ extended his best wishes. He said the headquarters will always be there to help and support the branches while also calling for cooperation from all branches for the same.
He appreciated the ALT Chakpikarong Branch for their efforts and following the right process of installation and oath taking.
The executive members of the ALT Chakpikarong Branch and the Assembly Affairs were blessed by Pastor Sng. Phorhrin.
The ceremony was attended by the president of ALCA, Nl. Worhring, ANCACSD president Ts. Berek, members of ALT – GHQ, members of Anal Sinnu Ruwl, Chakpikarong Branch, chiefs and youth club members from various villages of Chakpikarong area.
