Imphal: Dr Rajesh Kumar IAS, chief secretary of Manipur term has been extended by another six months till July 2023.

Sources say that the Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) has communicated the same to the government of Manipur.

Dr Rajesh Kumar was appointed as chief secretary in August 2020, succeeding former chief secretary Dr Suresh Babu during the governorship of Najma Heptulla.

Dr Rajesh Kumar is a 1988 batch IAS officer of Manipur cadre.
