The Naga Students Union, Delhi, kicked off its 58th Sports Meet on 2nd April 2025 under the theme “Together We Rise, Together We Soar” at NPL Police Ground, Kingsway Camp, Delhi. In his welcome address, Jepi Y Chisho, President of NSUD, impressed upon the attending members that the sports meet is not merely a routine exercise but an indispensable community-building exercise to celebrate and reinforce the spirit of oneness among the members of the Naga community through meaningful engagements and urged that the members must remain mindful of such objective throughout the event. Ten teams, each comprising of members of two tribal units, took part in the various games and sports hosted by the organiser. The event was declared open by Kuolie Mere, Dy. Director, DIPR, Nagaland and Chief Advisor to NSUD, and the oath was administered to the teams by Michael Maningdouba, Sports Secretary of NSUD.
On 5th April 2025, the final matches of all the events were conducted and the closing ceremony of the conducted with much fanfare and excitement from the players and spectators was graced by Mercy Epao, Jt. Secy., SME, Ministry of MSME, Government of India, as the Special Guest. In her address, the special guest expressed her gladness to witness Nagas from all walks of life coming together in one spirit and encouraged all the members of the union to continue working together as a community. The NSUD Advisory Board, NSUD Tribunal Members, senior members of Naga community in Delhi, and former office bearers of the Union attended the closing ceremony. The welcome address was given by Emelda Piphyane, General Secretary of NSUD.

The champions of Football, Volleyball and Basketball were awarded trophies along with cash prize and certificates, while the winners of individual events such as chess, arm wrestling, 100m dash and relay race were presented medals along with cash prize and certificate.
Advancing the vote of thanks, Lovejoy Chothe, Asst. Games and Sports Secretary of NSUD, acknowledged and extended gratitude to Delhi Police and University of Delhi for providing the grounds for the various games and sports and athletics, the donors and prize sponsors for their financial support, the Special Guest for her gracious presence, members involved in the management and conduct of the event, players and members for their active participation. The official declaration of conclusion of the 58th NSUD Annual Sports Meet was pronounced by the Special Guest, Mery Epao. The closing ceremony ended with a prayer by Albert N Hau, Associate Pastor, Zeme Church Delhi.
