Noney area Village Authorities demand to upgrade District Hospital

With the objective of providing efficient health facility in and around Noney, Health Department of Noney District conducted a Joint Consultative meeting in Auditorium Hall of Tengkonjang Hr. Sec. School, Longmai part -3, Noney on Wednesday.

The meeting was chaired by Dr G. Majachunglu (Gracy), Chief Medical Officer, Noney where Village Authority leaders of Longmai area, Noney District attended the program.

During the interaction session held as a part of the program, CMO Noney sought public cooperation and suggestion in carrying out smooth function of the health care sector in the district.

Village Authorities leader in the session requested to upgrade the District Hospital which is now located at Noney District Headquarters. They also demanded to set up Emergency and Trauma Centre at Noney along NH-37.

Altogether, 20 Village Authority leaders attended the program along with Medical Staffs.
