Senapati: The Phuba Khuman FC secured victory in the 23rd PNTM Tournament, 2024, after a challenging final match against Tungjoy village at Jathro ground, Tungjoy.
Despite Tungjoy scoring the first goal at 13 minutes, Phuba Khuman equalized in the 3 minutes of extra time, leading to a goalless draw in the remaining 20 minutes.

The match concluded with Phuba Khuman winning 5-4 in the penalty shootout.
The valedictory function, graced by N. Kayisii, MLA, 49-Tadubi AC, and Woba Joram, Working President, NPF, celebrated the tournament’s success.
Woba Joram emphasized the tournament’s role in uniting all ages and commended the host village’s hospitality since January 17.

Joram urged cooperation, responsibility, and setting examples for neighboring communities. The special guest also advised against excessive focus on phone games.
MLA Kayisii praised the student body for organizing the tournament and encouraged players not to be discouraged by losses but to aim high for future success.

He suggested sports as a profession for wealth and fame and commended Poumai youth for excelling in various fields.
Kayisii urged the youth to move forward with a fear of God for a better future.
