Police Training for Parliamentary Election 2024 Conducted Successfully in Chandel

Chandel: The first batch of police training in preparation for the upcoming Parliamentary Election 2024 was conducted today at the SP office in Chandel. The training session was led by Shankerjit Singh Loitongbam, Additional SP LO(CDL), who serves as the District Police Nodal Officer in Chandel. The training was conducted under the supervision of SP/CDL Hemant Pandey.

The primary objective of this training was to equip all police personnel with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their election duties effectively and without any hindrance. The training covered various aspects, including the roles of the police during elections and the general dos and don’ts that they need to adhere to while on duty.

The next training session for the remaining police personnel is scheduled to be held on March 27, 2024. The Manipur Police is committed to ensuring that all its personnel are adequately trained and prepared to uphold the integrity of the electoral process and ensure a smooth and peaceful election environment.
