Ukhrul: The Indian National Congress (INC) has declared the names of the two candidates who will contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Manipur. JNU Professor Angomcha Bimol Akoijam has been nominated as the candidate for the Inner Manipur Lok Sabha Constituency. Concurrently, former MLA Alfred K Arthur has been selected to contest from the Outer Manipur Lok Sabha Constituency, ending speculations.

Prof. A Bimol Akoijam’s selection as the INC candidate for the Inner Manipur Lok Sabha Constituency has drawn attention due to his extensive experience and academic background. With a distinguished career in academia, Prof. Akoijam brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the political arena.
