Restrictions on inter-state movements lifted in Nagaland

DIMAPUR: The Nagaland government has decided to “lift restrictions on inter and intra state movement of all types in the state with effect from September 1”.

The High Powered Committee (HPC) on COVID-19 of the state government took this decision during a meeting at the Chief Minister’s Chamber on Monday.

The decision was taken in line with the Unlock 4 guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs, according to the state government source. This decision was also taken to address the economic related issues in the state, the source added.

However, educational institutions will remain closed till further notice.
