Senapati, June 11: Following the State Government’s failure to respond within the 48-hour period to the ultimatum served on 4th June 2025 (Ref. No. SDSA-31/24-26), demanding the transfer of the District Superintendent of Police and Additional Superintendent of Police (Law & Order), Senapati District, the Senapati District Students’ Association (SDSA) has declared the commencement of a non-cooperation movement against the duo.
In a press release issued from its office, the student body also made a public directive regarding the matter. The release stated that, with immediate effect, the SDSA declared total non-cooperation with the said officers and instructed the general public, civil society organizations (CSOs), and all concerned stakeholders to refrain from any engagement, cooperation, or correspondence with them in both civil and official capacities.

This decision has been necessitated by their unprofessional conduct and mishandling of a peaceful democratic agitation, as well as the government’s indifference to legitimate public concerns, the district’s apex student body said.
The office shall not be held responsible for any breakdown of law and order or any threat to public safety resulting from the continued service of the officers in the district, the release stated.
Furthermore, “Considering the growing public mistrust and resentment towards these officials, the office categorically states that the personal security and well-being of the said officers shall not be the responsibility of the office in any manner. This directive shall remain in force until due action is taken and the officials in question are relieved from their posts,” the release added.
