L T Lowly Becomes First State Player from Senapati District to Shine in National Tournament

Ukhrul: In a remarkable achievement, L T Lowly, jersey 9, a 19-year-old football sensation from Ngari Lishang Village, Senapati District, has made history as the first state player from Senapati District to excel in the prestigious Santosh Trophy.

Lowly’s passion for football was evident from a young age when he joined the Imphal Football Academy under the guidance of L Prem. He developed his skills by playing for various local clubs before earning a spot on the Manipur State team for the Santosh Trophy.
