Pre-recruitment training for Agniveer aspirants re-commenced in Ukhrul dist

Ukhrul: Training for Agniveer aspirants have been recommenced by Somsai Battalion Assam Rifles, under the aegis of IGAR(S), at Ukhrul COB on Monday.

Previously these aspirants were trained for eight weeks during the period of July-August 2022.

According to their press release, training shall be undertaken for two weeks as a refresher training for the Agniveer aspirants under the Agnipath scheme.

108 aspirants are said to be participating from Ukhrul district in the pre-recruitment training. Recruitment rally is scheduled on November 24 in Manipur and the training will assist the aspirants in building confidence and honing the skills.

Ukhrul youths and their parents showed their appreciation to Somsai Battalion Assam Rifles for organising the pre-recruitment training. They have urged them to undertake more such initiatives in the future.
