This was conveyed to the Delhi-based Tangkhul and Poumai student union leaders in their meeting at the BSF Headquarters in New Delhi today.

The Tangkhul Students Union Delhi (TSUD) and Poumai Students Union Delhi (PSUD) had submitted separate complaints to the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Headquarters in New Delhi regarding the disqualification of 144 candidates during the ongoing recruitment process.

“With the recommendation of SSC Section Officer, the presidents of both TKLD and PNTMD visited the BSF Headquarter and engaged with the BSF and CAPF recruitment in charge. Ajay Vir Singh, the recruitment in-charge of BSF, clarified and assured that candidates with a height of 162.5 cm or more should not be disqualified. Any candidates who were wrongly disqualified will be selected for the respective posts,” the student bodies said.
