During the interaction, the Ze Mnui (Yangkhullen) Village Authority submitted a memorandum requesting the Governor’s intervention in several priority areas. The memorandum sought the early establishment of the proposed police station at Bendramai along NH-129A, improvement of infrastructure and deployment of adequate teaching staff at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Awasiya Vidyalaya (NSCBAV) Residential School at Bendramai, and the construction of an approximately 11-kilometre approach footpath connecting Yangkhullen to Dzüko Valley to improve access to the scenic valley.

The village authority stated that these projects are essential not only for Yangkhullen but also for the surrounding areas, and appealed to the Governor to facilitate their implementation.

Receiving the memorandum, Governor Bhalla assured the villagers that their demands would be examined and that he would extend all possible support within the framework of existing government rules and development schemes.

Residents welcomed the Governor with great enthusiasm and expressed gratitude for his visit, saying it was the first time a sitting Governor had travelled to their remote village. They said the visit gave them an opportunity to directly present their long-pending developmental needs before the state’s highest constitutional authority.

The Governor later visited Willong Khullen, where villagers also submitted a memorandum outlining their local concerns. According to official information, Governor Bhalla is scheduled to visit Dziiko Valley on Tuesday as part of his tour of the region.
