Manipur extends lockdown till August 6

UT News Service | Imphal, July 30: Manipur state government has extended the 7 days complete lock-down which began from 23 July, 2:00pm further to August 6, 2020 (Thursday) to the entire state or until further notice as per the orders issued by the State Executive Committee of the State Disaster Department Management Authority in exercise of the power conferred under Section 20(2) (a) Disaster Management Act 2005.

The decision was taken due to the rising number of COVID-19 infections in the state without any travel history outside of the state.

List of activities permitted during the state lockdown is listed below as issued by the Chief Secretary Dr J Suresh Babu.
