Poumai Naga Hoho Nagaland condemns loot at Pherima

Kohima: The Poumai Naga Hoho Nagaland (PNHN) Wednesday expressed shock and anger at the barbaric act of unknown miscreants who looted five persons in broad daylight at Pherima on June 30.

In a press release issued by PNHN on Wednesday, it said “The Hoho and all its subordinate units condemned the inhuman act meted out on the chairman of Khodom Khavü village, Senapati district and the occupants of the car by hijacking the vehicle and looting valuable items and cash money.”

According to the statement, it stated that such action should be condemned by all right thinking citizens.

The Hoho further went on to request the law executing agencies of the state to expedite in nabbing the culprits which will be justice delivered to the victims and the prompt action will pave ways for preventing such crimes in future too.

On a concluding note, the PNHN also expressed their deepest sympathy and concern to the people of Poumai Naga Community who have gone through the ordeals of the miscreants on that fateful day.
