S C Jamir suffers stroke, Out of danger

Former chief minister and former governor of Gujarat, Dr SC Jamir is said to have reportedly suffered a stroke this morning.

The former chief minister of Nagaland was on the way to Makokchung but was transferred back to Dimapur as he fell ill for further medical check up.

According to reliable sources, the 90-year-old, SC Jamir is stable now and out of danger.

SC Jamir was recently conferred the prestigious Padma Bhushan by the president of India. Padma Bhushan is the third-highest civilian award, for exceptional and distinguished service in the field of public affairs.
