Sudeva granted direct entry to I League for 2020-21 season

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) today granted Sudeva Moonlight FC direct corporate entry to the I League and the team from Delhi will play in India’s second division commencing next season.

Three clubs, viz. Sudeva (Delhi), Sreenidhi (Visakhapatnam), and Ryntih (Shillong) – bid for participation in the Hero I-league 2020-21 and the team from Delhi have been granted participation for next season while Sreenidhi will also be allowed to enter the I League from the 2021-22 season.

Chairman Mr. Dutta said to www.the-aiff.com: “I on the behalf of AIFF, welcome Sudeva to the Hero I-League family. I wish them all the best and look forward to a competitive league.”

“I would also like to congratulate and welcome Sreenidhi from the 2021-22 edition of the Hero I-League.”

Hungpung born former Mohun Bagan defender Ngaraipam Kasomwung played for the Delhi outfits last season and is pipped to stay on. Former East Bengal winger Yami Longvah has also been linked with the club for some time and may sign for the newcomers for the upcoming season.
