Speaking on the sidelines of the rally, a spokesperson alleged that normal life in the area has been badly hit by the repeated incidents of gunfire.

“The repeated incidents of firing have affected the innocent villagers. Such incidents have created fear and panic among the villagers. There is no more peace… With fear and uncertainty, farmers are unable to carry out their usual agricultural activities and students have stopped going to school. This has affected their education,” she said.
