Ukhrul Logs 11 fresh COVID-19 positive cases; Total active tally spikes to 77

Ukhrul reported 11 fresh Covid-19 positive cases on Monday pushing the district total active tally to 77. While Kamjong district reported 12 new covid-19 positive cases taking the total active to 63.

The district cumulative positive stands at 870 of which 520 are males and 350 are females, according to DSO Ukhrul.

Out of the 77 total active case, 21 patients are kept at district hospital isolation ward, 41 at transit covid care centre, 7 at Phalee community isolation centre, and 8 at Ukhrul higher secondary school CHIC. While cumulative death toll remained at 22.

Ukhrul logged 12 positive cases on Sunday.

Manipur reported 987 new positive cases and nine more deaths in the last 24 hours.

The new cases detected across the state pushed the total COVID-19 confirmed cases in the state to 10524, while the total number of confirmed cases rose to 93,656, according to COVID-19 Common Control Room release.
