NSCN-K Niki Sumi group Cautions Transporters and Businessmen dealing with Mughavi Zhimo

The NSCN-K Niki Sumi group on Tuesday in a press release cautioned all transporters/transport agencies to cut all association with Mughavi Zhimo, Tatar, NSCN (Khango) and vice president, Nagaland Transport Association for collecting money from transporters for his personal benefit in the name of different underground faction, including NSCN/GPRN.

Accusing of collecting crores of money from transporters as middle-man for his own expenses worth Rs. 8 crores  without due submission of money collected to the concerned groups, it accused Mughavi Zhimo of collecting Rs 36,000 per entry in the name of Naga national groups, the release said.

NSCN-K Niki Sumi group also clarified that Mughavi Zhimo was not given authorization by the government to collect money. “He is said to be collecting ‘protection money’ from transporters;” as well as “collecting money on behalf of NNPG but not submitting the same to the concerned authority,” it added.

The release pointed out that Mughavi Zhimo joined NSCN (Khango) in 2020 to seek shelter from his wrong doings, it cautioned him to immediately cease all his unlawful activities or take befitting action against him as per the Azha.

The group also cautioned transporters and businessmen dealing with him on financial matters at their own risk.
